Kenny dalgliesh- Return of .....
Unusual for me to post a football thing on here. I have to say the return of Dalgliesh is absolutely brilliant for football. In the early 1990s he crafted one of those most attacking teams I had ever seen, they were completely dominant and would pass the ball around and leave teams trailing in their wake. The problems for Liverpool and the manager was that the hillsborough had formed a heavy cloud over events at liverpool, the horros of that day must have lived in the memory. With hindsight liverpool should of held onto Dalgliesh in that they should have left the door open for a return. Within 2 years of leaving liverpool he was at blackburn and within two years they had won the league.
Dalgiesh was one of those players that I grew up watching. That beaming smile everytime he scored, such intelligence ona football field. In a way Dalgiesh going to newcastle and briefly celtic were just stop gaps. As Dalgiesh is only 59 he could build a future dynasty, in that it only took Ferguson four years from when he took over to start winning trophies. Liverpool at the moment are a good side, but just weak in certain areas.
Mike Oldfield- north Star
A cover version of the Phillip Glass track called 'Etoile Polaire'. . The fashion on this video leaves alot to be desired, however features the brilliant guitar work of oldfield and voice of Maggie Reilly.
Forgotten Towns - Bbc article
Intresting piece about towns that have dissapered or been taken over. Living In Middlesbrough a experiencing places that have shut down is quite spooky. reading the artcile it must be wierd for the people that have grown up in these areas to be moved away.

King Crimson and Robert Fripp
Really Like this site, Robert Fripp is definately a hero of mine. Such intelligence in this music and the various avenues he goes down outside of it. Various photos outside of his house in worcestershire but never the less a good site.
