New Order are a bit like Kraftwerk in some respects. They were influenced by them but they released such a series of groundbreaking albums in the 80s. Like a trilogy, from Movement in 1981 to Technique in 1989. With their critical success and financial pressures (hacienda ) caused them to sign to a mjaor label. The Lines between the Electronbic albums and New Order albums that followed were pretty similar the 80s albums were experimental and set new standards.
A few months ago the Times released with their paper the album 'Power curruption and Lies' in some ways its wierd seeing a brilliant albums given away a daily paper.
